
Stoked To Smoke is new to the Nelson/Tasman area. We are not a big-box store, and we’re not here to sell you a spade, a hammer or even some timber for your home project. Instead, we are an owner-driven company with skin in the game and a real passion for what we do. We use every product we stock and take pride in sharing our knowledge so others can experience the incredible flavours that are possible.

Pete (Owner) has a history in the BBQ and smoking space dating back to his days in Marlborough. It’s from this base that his passion and experience began. He uses and cooks on all of the products listed… and has done so for some time.
Pete enjoys nothing more than creating a feast, whether it’s “low and slow,” experimenting with cold smoking (his smoked Chilli Cheese is legendary to many!), or whipping up incredible pizzas that burst out of the Ooni ovens at a speed that defies belief.
The ranges we’ve settled on to begin are leading name brands in their respective sectors.
Leading the stable is Traeger, a world leader in pellet smoking. These grills are tried and tested globally, and here at Stoked 2 Smoke, we don’t just “pick the eyes out” of the range, we carry the full suite of parts and accessories to fully support every Traeger product.
Next in the stable is Ooni, simply the best when it comes to producing amazing-tasting pizza. With options from gas-powered to multi-fuel and wood pellet ovens, there’s an Ooni for everyone. Reaching up to 900°F, these units cook pizzas in just 60–90 seconds, delivering flavour that truly astounds.
Rounding out the offerings is Smokai, a cold-smoking unit designed right here in New Zealand. This beauty opens up a
whole new world of possibilities, from smoking cheeses, olive oil, herbs and spices to fish, meats and vegetables. Available in three sizes, Smokai offers up to 40 hours of smoking time and brings flavour to life. Pair it with our range of wood chips, and the results are endless.
To complement the hardware, we also stock Rum & Que award-winning rubs and sauces for added flavour, the Gourmet Innovations vacuum packer for preserving your produce, and the pre-prepared frozen Organic Dough Company products to take the hassle out of pizza dough preparation.
